Every time I think I might be able to see some semblance of intelligence within this place they do something so bizarrely out of the realm of reality I can barely believe my senses. I am still constantly dealing with idiotic people who think it is the best thing in the world to micro-manage their perceived subordinates. I am no person's subordinate and most of my employers know that. This person walks into a classroom for the most inane of reasons, usually to pick on the ridiculous dress code, and causes a thorough disruption of my class. I find this to be an educational faux pas AND downright fucking stupid. I have told him to quit but he just finds another reason, such as bringing the coach in to see s student. You do not do that. You knock, wait for the teacher, then QUIETLY ask the teacher what you need to ask. Do not FUCKING disrupt my group anymore. It is a wholly unsound practice that does nothing but feed your need for complete and utter dominating power. To quote Roger Waters, "Hey, (.....,) Leave them kids alone." Next I will tell you what happened today.
About 1:20 this after noon while I was attempting to find a bottle of water for our, "fountain," I saw the Head of School looking a bit befuddled. She was trying to reach someone else and asked if I could try and get him to call her. I could not but was told that there would be a lock down coming shortly. I turned around and took my kids into the room. There were four kids across the hall with no teacher, as there are almost every day, and I told them to come to my room but they did not move. I locked then closed their door and told them to stay put as I had other kids to deal with, too and could not be in two places in one time frame. We were not told anything at all for almost two hours. If you remember correctly, the fact that people stayed quiet was why so many young people got killed at Virginia Tech. Good going, guys.
Worse, rumour has it there was a bomb threat. Fucking bomb threat!!!! Are you serious??? You put us on a lock down when there was a bomb threat????? A bomb threat is supposed to be an EVACUATION you fucking morons. You don't keep people in the building when someone has said there is a bomb within. Who in the hell taught you imbeciles how to think?? Oh, that's right, obviously no one. I hope some got a chance to talk to the media out front because someone really has to know how fucking stupid you guys really are.
Oh, and I forgot something else. It came to me that one of our staff SAW the police escort the young religous kids to the restroom while the lady watching our kids had to make them use a bucket to relieve themselves. Yet another bit of proof that there are two different schools at work and two different sets of rules while all in the same building and using the same facilities.

The Change of Tide
For some unknown reason the tide seem to have changed. The owner came to me, at first accusing me of being Anti-Semetic, then saying she wanted to, "open up a (forum) to allow for our kids to understnat (from whence she and her people come)." I knew this could be VERY good for my kids.
I am still a bit in shock over it. In three years this woman BARELY has said ten words to me, AND when I was spoken of she usually talked over me to others in the room and it was ABOUT me. Maybe she is just of the mind that she is above me, which will NEVER be the case. But, for some reason, I know I just used that phrase, she came to me for this supposed project. Believe me, you will all know what has transpired because it will be right here. Rock on my friends.

It's Been a While
I haven't written in a bit because I am trying to lay low. Well, that just ain't me. After a week, last, of riots, the girls this time, and two of my other favorite kids being railroaded out of here, I tried to keep my mouth shut. Now I want, even more, to rub in their faces the FACT that I proposed a unit in which I would work with no more then TEN kids having such difficulties and I wanted them to have a MUCH shorter day and be away from EVERYBODY. It would have worked you fucking idiots. But instead of thinking about what someone from the relative old guard might know, you retards put someone in charge that doesn't have enough background to know where the fucking toilet is.
This little imbecile only has about three years' classroom experience but thinks she really has the right to tell those of us having five times, and more, that how things should be done. Her biggest problem is that she really believes herself. Fucking insane. She can think what she wants and put IDEAS out there, but to think that I would do things as she says just because she says so is ludicrous. I feel very sorry for her soon to be born child, but maybe not. I guess when one grows up being spoiled and believing no one could ever have a decent thought other than yourself, makes thing easy, until you wake up and find there is a MUCH bigger and meaner world out there. Watch out little woman! You are not the big person you think you are.
One day you will learn that no one has any fear nor respect for you and that should be the opening of your eyes. Then, and only then, you will begin to grow and PERHAPS become one of the people trying to actually help our kids. Now all you are is a HUGE detriment. Go away from them and let them be. Let those of us who know them and really care, work with them and keep your idiotic nose the fuck out of it. You and you stupid ass dress code and going into classrooms to check on such drivel.
Leave the fucking kids alone once they get into a classroom. Don't any of you motherfuckers know anything about the integrity of a classroom environment? You NEVER enter a classroom and disrupt the learning process in anyway UNLESS it is an emergency. The second one of you dumb-fucks enters, you disturb something. One of you does it on purpose. Next thing in this...
On Wednesday, November 28th, I was given an ultimatum. I have had them before but they had never been worth shit, to, "Get your license before Friday (mind you it was Wednesday and that only gave me two days!!!) or you will no longer be employed with us." Can you imagine being given such a directive with ONLY two days. The State of Ohio could NEVER be expected to give someone a license in such a short time. In fact, six months would be fast. As I have already told you, I have a license, but they say that an administrative license does not allow someone to go and work in a classroom. The fact that I no longer WANT to work in a classroom is immaterial, I guess. One would think that getting an administrative license would be due to the fact that such a person had wanted to work in, Oh, I don't know, maybe, ADMINISTRATION?????

The latest things number 3
I have already shown you the way things look for the, "more important," folk. Now let me show some of what it looks like for the majority of the kids. Show are a typical hallway, notice the glaring differences, and a typical classroom complete with its own open hole in the wall containing God knows what. The "company" be damned. Our kids deserve better than this and so the fuck do we. When the hammer comes down, I cannot believe that those who would do this to us could ever be deemed ,"the chosen people." This should in no way reflect on ANY of the kids, it should, though, make one see the differences that are painfully obvious.

The lates things number 2.
There are many safety issues that I have been writing about for some time, as well as those that just prove where people think, or don't. Here I have have shown you the safety issues regarding possible asbestos and/or lead paint, etc., which is above people who actually occupy this office on a daily basis. Some of them even pregnant. I cannot imagine this could be construed in any manner as healthy. But, it has been blown off many a time.
The next is a railing on the front portico of the school on which the kids lean EVERY day. The possibility of kids falling and getting hurt is immense, but I, a nobody in their eyes, had to be the one to tell them of the problem. AND, when I did, it was treated as, "just one more thing." Again I saved these idiots from a sure lawsuit, though that was surely not my plan. I fear for the safety of our kids and could care no less than I do about what is good for the "company."

Today I decided to take photos to show some of the things of which I had been speaking. The most ridiculous, for the ikds at least, is the bathroom situation. Girls and Boys in high school sharing the same bathroom since August is incomprehensible to me, but this is the proof.

The shit never stops.
I am beginning, at the behest of un grande cohort, a new book that is far from fiction. This sense of I don't know what that is pervasive throughout our society, and most importantly in my profession of education in the city of Cleveland is awful. I may not be only the city, and I am quite sure it is not, but here is where I am and these are some of the thing I have seen, and continue to see.
I have been making the attempt to put some very disquieting things here-on for about a week. I received some paperwork from our administration outlining the, "requirements," from the Ohio Department of Education regarding Breakfast and Lunch. At the bottom of each, "guideline," paper is a quote, "Note: Students must take a reimbursable meal, even if they do not plan on eating it!" First off, this a grammatical nightmare. Secondly, I cannot begin to imagine that this is what the state means. Are we REALLY supposed to teach our kids to, "go through the motions," just so someone whom cares for them naught can get her reimbursement. "Just throw the stuff away if you don't want it," I was told to say to them.
You guys, meaning the government, really want us to waste food like this and you will pay for it. I find that wholly wrong. Shit, my taxes are paying for this and there is enough pork in our electorate. Why in any one's sake would we teach our kids that waste is good. I hope this was a misprint or that the idiotic administration from my school took things upon themselves and just read part of a directive without taking it in its entirety. I will continue to attempt the download because you must see it to believe it, but I do have it on my email.
Be prepared for something else, soon. I have witnessed, FIRST HAND, for the first time in my life, what it must have been like in the fifties and sixties. Within this organization we mistakenly call a public school, there is BLATANT segregation going on. In fact, the Orthodox Jewish kids, who are being educated in the very same building, are getting perks such as carpeted rooms, etc, as show in an earlier blog, never have any contact with the rest of us. My students are of much darker complexion than they and are, as it would seem by the way we are treated, of a lower social standing. We don't even have a separate girls' and boys' restroom in some areas. Another thing that brings things to light is this quote from one of the teachers who works with my kids in the AM then "his kids" in the afternoon. I had made mention that since they had so many more computers and such plush carpeted room, maybe his morning kids should follow him to his afternoon gig. (Mind you it is in the same building and same floor just in the front rather than in the rear.) He said, "I bet they would like that. They are curious." I was speechless. What are my kids, specimens for the Jewish kids to study? I can only hope he mis-spoke, but I highly doubt it as he has made many such statements that I had never put together until that point. If you can't handle those for whom you work, get away.
My kids need no pity, but they do need understanding. I do not wish to coddle them. On the other hand, I do not, and never will, believe there is no hope and that each and every one of them has some niche. Rock on my children and FUCK those who put you down.

One more fucking thing!!!!!!!!!!!
Why do I even fucking try to help these idiots? (Honestly, I believe that word is not far from the truth regarding their collective intelligence so the word "idiot" is used clinically as well as figuratively.) There can be no people nearly as lacking in sense as those running this fucking place. I have, and will again, attempted to post a portion of the law from the Ohio Revised Code but am currently having some difficulty. Once you see it you will understand, but I digress.
Today, 11/09/2007, the IDIOTS made another arbitrary decision based upon something that made no sense except to them. I will get in to it in a moment, but now I must take a break. I just want to say that they asked for it and now they really need to accept things as they asking for them to be. I am going to try everything in my power to do just as they wish and that means:
No more IEPs (PERIOD).
No more discipline.
No more parental contact.
No more meetings.
No more assistance toward the other staff.
No more students coming to my room asking for help.
No more using my pencil sharpener.
No more asking me for pencils and pens.
No more paper.
No more use of my microwave or fridge.
The above list is not exhaustive but is all I can think of specifically at the moment. Just wait, you will get yours and don't come crying to me when you need some help.

Ohio's Value-Added System and Community School Closures due toPoor Academic Performance
Background:
Expected gains has been replaced by the value-added system.
Language and Impact: Valued-added performance measures and state designations (ratings) will be used to determine which community schools will be required to permanently close and applies to any community school that meets ONE of the following sets of criteria after July 1, 2008.
A school will permanently close at the end of the school year during which the school first becomes subject to 3314.35 as a result of meeting ONE of the following sets of criteria:
SET ONE
• The school meets ALL of the following conditions:
» Offers any grade level between 4 and 8 but not higher than 9.
» The school has been rated in Academic Emergency for 3 consecutive sdhool years.
» For 2 of the 3 consecutive school years that the school was rated in Academic Emergency, the school made less than one standard year of academic growth in either reading or
,
math under the state of Ohio's Value-added system.
OR
SET TWO
• The school meets ALL of the following conditions:
;, Offers any grade level between 10 and 12.
;, The school has been rated in Academic Emergency for 3 consecutive school years.
;, For 2 of the 3 consecutive school years that the school was rated in Academic Emergency, the school made less than two standard years of academic growth in either reading or math under the state of Ohio's Value-added system.
Or
• The school does not offer any of grades 4 through 12 and has been rated in Academic Emergency for four consecutive school years.
The sponsor and governing authority will be required to comply with the community school closing procedures. Additionally, the governing authority will not be allowed to enter into a contract with any other sponsor.
Caveat:
The Ohio Department of Education is tasked with determining the feasibility of using the valued-added performance measure in assessing the academic performance of schools meeting the second set of criteria, i.e. offering any grade level between 10 and 12. If ODE determines that it is not feasible to use the value-added performance measure in this manner, such a school will be required to permanently close only if it has been rated in Academic Emergency for four consecutive school years. Drop-out/prevention and recovery program waiver from valueadded/ school closure

This new section defines community schools which serve a majority of students who are enrolled in a dropout prevention and recovery program and may be granted a "waiver" from permanent closure conditions described in Section 3314.35
Background: New legislative requirements describe conditions under which poor-performing community schools are closed. New Section 3314.36 clarifies conditions specific to drop-out recovery schools. Language and Impact: Section 3314.35 defines conditions under which community schools shall be permanently closed and cites schools which qualify for a waiver by the department under Section 3314.36
as the exception to these conditions. Section 3314.36 specifies the conditions under which such a waiver may be granted:
D Firstl the majority of students in the school must be enrolled in a dropout prevention and recovery program.
D SecondlYI the program must serve students not younger than sixteen years of age and not older than twenty-one years of age.
D The program must also enroll students who are (either or
both): at least one grade level behind their cohort age groups or; experience crises that significantly interfere with their academic progress such that they are prevented from continuing their traditional programs.
o The school's educational program requires students to attain
at least the applicable score designated for each of the tests prescribed under division (B) of section 3301.0710 of the Revised Code.
D The program develops an individual career plan for the
student that specifies the student's 90a1s to either enter a two-year degree programl acquire a business and industry credential or to enter an apprenticeship.

Let us re-visit September
Look back, my friends, at September 18th of this year. There was a post regarding the negotiations I was going through. I asked them fro extra money to run this program more correctly but they refused. Well... as I thought would happen, I have two kids now to tutor which will in truth allow me to make more moeny from them than I had originally asked. Good going you fucking idiots. It is so easy.... Here is my proposal from last November. It seems as though, shockingly enough, they weren't really listening were they???
I would like it known from the outset that I am writing from a personal professional level regarding the current state of the Center-Based High School. I cannot assume that I speak for anyone else. I understand that (this) is both a business and an educational facility and would like to present a tidy, quiet, respectful area allowing for the program to be more easily sold to prospective parents and/or investors, however I feel we are missing an integral part of the special education student body.
All of the students in the high school, and I have had dealings with each and every student since the beginning of this year, are decent kids. In my opinion, this has been the best group of kids I have EVER had the pleasure of helping. The decision has been made to remove these children, and I do not want to make any waves about that. However, I would like to try to show people what can be done with these particular students that have been “removed” from the center-based program. (Regardless of our perspective, each student feels as though he/she has been “kicked out.”)
I have worked with kids since I was just a kid myself. In fact, I was part of a tutoring program with 1st graders when I was in 6th grade. I was also an unidentified, by school processes, Emotionally Disturbed child from about eleven onward. I can hope that the previous gives you an understanding as to why I feel I can make some things work that others cannot. I not only understand these students, I WAS one of them. I grew up in a single parent household on public assistance. I share a similar experience as well as having the educational background for 31 years. (I was also more or less a parent from about the age of 12 after Mom had to work). I have two adult sons who have gone through the teenage years and one 19 year-old godson who is actually from this very area, Glenville. Clearly, my qualifications are evident.
Being a matriculated educator and having been in the field since 1988, I have more educational experience than anyone else in the high school and most of the school as a whole. Special Education is not only my forte, but my passion as a born advocate for the, “less fortunate.” Let us sit down and talk so we can come up with something that will serve the, “bad kids,” as well as the supposed good ones. After all, we know that once the bad kids are gone, one or more of the good kids has to become the bad kid(s).
I have a general idea as to what is needed but require space, a budget, at least two other teachers to start, and supplies. I figure we would probably start with about 15 students, as that is the approximate number moved from the center-based program, which should be the cap for the time being. I would need support staff, a “quiet room,” the ability to be within the area most of the time, a schedule that is set but flexible, and a certain amount of autonomy to create and update the program as is needed.

I told you all about the asinine riot on Thursday last, but did not say anything, I don't think, about the killing of a 15 year old girl who used to be one of ours and has many siblings that still go here. When asked, by a former student, if there was something that was to be done to memorialize this student whom had been killed over the weekend, in fact just one day after the riot, the owner of this company, in one of her usual, "What? The kids? Who the fuck are they and why should it matter to me," mannerisms, told that requesting woman, "NO! She isn't one of ours anymore."
The unfeeling and absolute self-serving nature of this incredible BITCH is incomprehensible to me.
Next this is we have been smelling the adhesive needed to put down tiles in the 1st floor west area of the school for the past three days. I have read the labels which call for "proper ventilation." Well, guess what, NOTHING was open. This is making me feel as though it is time to pass out. I do not want myself nor the kids to have to deal with this shit.
COME ON, NOW soon there will be no one left that knows how to deal with my kids. Therefore they will no longer have an advocate. BUT, I must get the hell out of here.
OH, by the way, I got an email,... you know what, I think I might just start posting them here to see what you all think about them. Wait a minute, let me try this.

Y requested for you to know exactly where you are on your paperwork to ODE and your masters work. We need this information by this Friday. If we don't have that answer we will assume you are not conforming to the VSH standards for a teacher status and cannot have you employed here. I would really hate to see that happen. Please communicate with us so we know all is in order.
There it is!!!! Now mind you, if you look back you will know, I have been dealing with the Y person for some time now regarding pay, etc. AND you might know I am one of only about six people within the high and middle schools actually having a license. Plus, the Y woman only asked last week while I had to wait for her more than three months to get a decent answer. Hmmmm?? Is it about what is good for the kids???? Fuck no!!! It is about what is good for the owner and her cadre of "community members."
I am going to make the attempt to paste all of the emails I have received, hopefully in the correct order and with my responses, here in the next weeks or so. Please keep up with me. Thanks.

The fucking riot!!
On the 18th of October, the most strange thing I have ever seen, happened while I was right in the middle of it. Our school, if you want to call it that, was the very proud owner of a damned RIOT. There had to have been somewhere near 40 kids, 90% of them ours, fighting each other for some reason or another.

the next thing
have I told you lately that i hate you....??? have i told you there's something sucky below you? is there some thing that makes no sense to anyone in the real world that makes you want to scream???? I know there should be. I want you all to be aware. The latest bunch of bullshit is that a friend of mine has recently left. Shockingly enough, it has to do with the fact that she was dealing with the money, SATAN, and was fucked with to the point of, "LATER." At one point I gave the scummy bitch the proverbial finger. She is so ensconsed in her own world that she didn't even know she was being slammed. Such is the life of a self important bitch.
Anyway, I was running the show in a unit no-where near of my ideal, as you all should have already known. I had an idea and it was bastardized to something beyond all recognition. Well, the bastardization took full force yesterday, though it was already coming last week. I am the person to whom all calls have come for the last seven weeks, but now, because those who know all and think they ARE all, have come up with a solution, which should scare anyone with some German background, that is sure to work. They have decided, in their ultimate wisdom, to change everything yet again.
Old R, no need to go any further with the name because everyone knowing alrady knows, came donw and started yelling at the kids. His purpose, supposedly, was to get everything organized. The fact was this, as has already been stated: I could have EASILY gotten thing organized had I been given the roper tools. Those tools would have included such minor things as: Staff, (It usually works much better whe you have SOMEONE to work in the rooms with the kids)Computers (we are a computer based school after all), Paper ( Who would think you would need that?), Pencils (Do I need to say it?), Chairs(I won't even try), Tables (???), etc. SO>>> he decided that putting klids, arbitrari;y in rooms would work. I had already done so but they changed the hours on us AGAIN, so I was wrong.
I was more than willing to admit they were right, because there was no other way to do anything, BUT not about everything. AGAIN, as I have stated and can unequivocally prove, I have more Special Education background and knowledge than ANYONE in the ENTIRE organization, but these fuckheads continue to "tell" me that I need to talk to. "Special Ed,"before I make certain changes. I know what needs to be done, legally. They say stupid shit such as:, "All we need is a change of placement form and everything is fine." NO!!!!!!!!!!! That is fucking wrong. If there is any chaneg of placement, there needs to, LEGALLY, be a new IEP and, of course, meeting with the parents. It does not necessarily have to be a, "Sit down, face to face," meeting, but it does have to be done and signed, again as an update. Fucking shit like this is only common sense. You don't make changes to a LEGAL document without the consent of ALL patries. VSH thinks that is not them because they do it all the time. In fact, I have been asked, on more than one occassion to "post-date" a document. I have refused and told them in no uncertain terms the reason. The "Owner, NS, told me, "you will do so or you will not get your check at the end of the year." To which I replied that I could not give her a specific time frame, as an IEP stands for INDIVIDUAL, which, by definition, does not stand for any specified length of time. She needs to be told that she does not know the ins and outs of the process just because she has gone through a couple of classes. I do not know everything and would never act as though, BUT I HAVE been writing these since the early 90s. Fuck you and your idiototic psuedo knowledge.
My understanding, as of earlier today, is that the State has released funding that they had, "put on hold," for this entity. I made the inquiry, not to the queen cunt, that why should the kid suffer, not that they have not already, just because the state was investigating the cunt. I was told, in no uncertain terms, that it was because of our Attorney General Marc Dann. That, to me, made no sense. I thought that senor Dann was out to protect the Ohio consumer, and stiil do believe so. In fact, Governor Strickland is also about the regulation of these schools that are STEALING taxpayer money and doing things that are hidden. I heard that NS was being bitched at about having kids in a building on Monticello in Cleveland Hieghts up until 10-09-2007. I heard her say that such a thing was not true..
Guess what??? She fucking lied. Those kids were hurriedly brought to 736 Lakeside in Cleveland on 10-10-2007. They had never been ther prior to that. Also, you might want to check on the building called, MOSDOS on Taylor Road across from Severance Center in Cleveland Heights. That's fucking hers as well. I do not want to see my kids suffer, any more, but thay will continue to do so under some scum like this. Her little pet kids get things that my kids could never dream of, although they have a "cheerleader," that atempts to state what is right with her status. She needs to burn in hell, which will happen according to my belief in divine retribution.
This latest post has been a ramble, but I hope you all understand>>>> My kids need some one giving a SHIT about them. No one would negate others' needs. if they have a caring bone in the body, but the absolute differences in the manner in which each group is treated cannot be ignored. They have been in the, "Monticello Building," until today, 10-10-2007, with air conditioning, while we, the black folk, have been at the Lakeside building without even fans to help us be just a slight bit more cool, that is except for the fans that our instructors, and we only have one that is licensed, brought from home. Is there a discrepancy??? You bet your fucking ass there is.
People have been told to stay away from me. That is correct!!!! If you value your,"Life," with NECHA, then you better stay with it, BUT, if you value, "LIFE," over her, then let us move on.
The last thing I want to address is the FUCKHEAD that decided to take over my unit. (I know what some of you are saying in the, "UNIT," thing but just shut the fuck up about it, damn it.) I know that it was not his idea because he has not had a creative idea in the entire time I have known him. He just does what the, "queen cunt," tells him he should. One more time, cunt mama, and her little prego cunt, decided to change the world. It had nothing to do with the best thing for the kids (why would they give a meandering SHIT about them?). They changed the times. The parents have been annoyed about this and I have had to take the brunt.
I have done what I could to respectfully request that some student move on to another placement, meaning another school. I have had success in about seven kids. I was told that those not wanting to leave would be, "expelled." Good idea!!!!!!! The only problem with that might be that NO ONE has done ANYTHING that could have been considered an expellable offense. Yes, it's true, some kids (and I know it is difficult to call a 275 pound six foot seven person a kid.) have been quite the pain in the ass, but they do not require expulsion. FUCKIN A. It would have taken a fight with a principal in my day to be expelled. These fuckers are strangely willing to comply with directives when given an ultimatum regarding graduation or..."the streets." Truthfully, some would prefer the streets, but, although most people thinking they know the city kids would deny this, most of the, "kids," I know do not want that life. Most have seen or know of someone who has either been jailed, and I know enough of them as well, or is dead, and I only know about six of them. Come on guys ( and girls)!!! I know you need to be tough to live where ever you are, BUT can you Not tell everyone else to fuck off?? If all the decent kids ganged up on the assholes, the world would begin to change. You, my children, have the power. You can make it change. Holy shit, I feel like Michael Jackson. (No, Not in that way you freaking pervert!!!)
